I'm able to launch BF2 with the regular shortcut, found in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

However, when I add anything to the shortcut ( like + szx 1440 + szy 990) it won't launch BF2, it just goes to the splashscreen, then a black screen flashes and it goes back to the desktop. Also I can't get xfire to one-click join a server, ie connecting to a server from xfire using the "Join Game" button. It seems like BF2 doesn't like those extra commands added on and won't launch. Has anyone else experienced or have any ideas of what might be wrong?

Thanks.

Don't really get what your asking. But reading your question made an idea pop into my head. I just sent the shortcut in C:\Program Files\.... to the desktop and edited the path or whatever and it worked! Thanks for the help.
