what do I change in the "profile"-"Default" files from .com to   .???
to get rid of the intros when booting up BF2 is I have forgotten.

Browse to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies

(Replace C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\ with your installation directory if you put it somewhere else)

Rename each of the files in there. I just change them from Dice.bik to Dice.bik2. Don't delete the movies folder entirely, it can cause probs.

+restart 1
To the end of the shortcut target on your desktop.

So that it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart 1
