Same! Although I don't know if the model was the same. I loved that system!
Great stuff. Used to love playing Elite on that.

I find it amusing how we've gone from 64KB of RAM to 2 GB of RAM (Yeah, some have more, some have less)
And from 133 MHZ CPU's to Intel Quad Core's @ 45456 mhz

Mine was something with Windows 3.0 on it, my dad gave it to me when I was like 3, which was around 1995.  I don't know the specs because he sold it at some point.

I can hardly remember what it looks like.  Wasn't it a just one large open window in the middle of the desktop with all your icons in it?

I haven't seen any 45.4GHz Quad Cores.

But anyway, your point is perfectly valid - but have you ever heard of a little thing called Moore's Law?

I had a computer in.. 1997 I think.. I was 5 years old.. my brother hogged it.. We had Sonic on the go! I remember exactly that it had 2.9GB, yes GB of hard drive space. Windows 95 basic.  We upgraded to 2000 in.. 2000, but that used up too much HD space so we downgraded again. No 3D graphics here. 56k Dial up Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition - god knows how it managed to run that. I've still got the speakers we had. They're UBER 1337. Cost over 200 pounds! Now people would expect me to pay you to take them. But they're amazing! Sure, the cable fxcks up and you only get 1 speaker if you move them too much, but they're still over 140 watts. I love them.

I had an old Epson with no HDD and no idea on the ram or cpu.  I booted MS-Dos from a floppy. This was around 1985 or so.  I did get a graphics card but have no idea on that either but it played a few basic games.  I used it all the way up to probably 1994 when I was in college.  I played a lot of Battle Chess and Monopoly on it in the Dorms.  In 1993 my senior year of High School I used it to make fake report cards for around $5.00 a card.  I used GW-Basic and had a program saved to where all I had to do was enter the classes and grades and it would figure the GPA out and arrange everything for printing.  My best friends mom couldn't believe it when she found out he might not graduate.  I kept him ungrounded for probably the last two years of High School.  It was the schools fault since they went to a plain white paper with standard printing.  You honestly couldn't tell the two report cards apart.
