When I play online, the game randomly closes... It doesn't happen that often but it still happens now and again, I know it isn't my PC because I get an FPS of around 100, it's really annoying. Any ideas on whats going on? Cheers.
it does that to me all the time randomly it's like "WTF"
Yeah man, fkin' sucks when you're commander and someone else takes your place after a failed attempt to quickly rejoin.[BambiKillerz]Brian wrote:

ITS ALL ABOUT THE BIOS! Update your bios and chipset drivers and you will be good to go. Any driver over 6 months is a driver of death for games!
Its my same-name-killer. Anyone who tries to make a username with any part of mine in it will suffer countless CTD's and BSOD's.=tards=_sinn wrote:

To the OP,
In all seriousness get some new video drivers. I quit paying for a while and had some lockup/CTD issues (not consistent mind you, but about 1 event for each hour played). Anyway I got some newer drivers and the game runs like butter again.

forget about BF2 being a great game its a nightmare for 512MB RAM and mediocre videocards.
I've had this happened to occasionally. I'll be right in the middle of owning online, and then POOF... there's my desktop with nothing in the taskbar and no errors poppping up at all. It's like my PC just forgot it was running the game and cleared it from the RAM instantly.
I dont think it matters what kind of hardware you have in your PC. The game is just buggy as hell sometimes. I got 2GBs of RAM and a PCI-E ATI X850 XT PE which runs it beautifully.
I'm with Sinir though. Make sure you have the newest drivers for your graphics card. If you have an ATI card, since I've had mine for about a year now, ATI has been pretty good about releasing driver updates about every month now. I know this is what fixed some of my problems before when I first started playing.

I had the same problem and tried so many good idears from alot of people. Finally i updated the firmware on my router, and that solved the problem.
I've got the same problem as well, don't know what to do about it really...
Sorry to ask but what has got your router to do with bf2?TBoye-RFC- wrote:
