From an early version of my minimod. It's not all that hard to put in, but it sucks badly if left untouched. kysterama is well-known in the BF2 modding community and his version is orders of magnitude better than DICE's.

lol taking models and changing the stats of them is easy. You should try making a wholy new model and texture and adding custom stats, now that is fucking hard.k30dxedle wrote:

The problem ive got is that the fucking plugins for maya are only for 6.0 and ive got maya 8.0...
WOw. modding your own game, making weapons, man thats beyond me. those graphics in the video looked a lot nicer then even the nicest i've seen, that must be a modded game also? Or just the gun? And the 2142 APC video was pretty kick ass!

I tried editing my game files for it following his guide, and I fucked it up cause my game crashes whenever I try and go to Multiplayer or singleplayer..

ye its a gun EA dice was making for bf2 but never finished it... someone finished it but if u get it u cant play mp since it makes ur game "modified"
