Is it possible to subscribe to a thread without being emailed every time someone posts to it?

Umm.... Isn't that the point of subscribing to it?
Somewhat - other forums will send you one notification when the thread is replied to.
This forum sends a notification for every single person that replies after you.
Thats a little much on a hot topic - 15+ emails, etc.
Also with subscriptions you can check your subscriptions at the bottom of the index each time you log on.
You don't have to have emails to see if a subscribed topic has activity.
Thats the way I prefer it and hope there is a setting I can change.

Ah ok I see what you mean. I'm not sure if you can set it to do that, but then again, I've never subscribed to a post so I don't know how it works. Your best bet is to unsubscribe from that post and just check back to the post every so often to see if it's updated.west-phoenix-az wrote:
