Imagine that you are a soldier fighting in an urban environment, you enter a room and are confronted with a clearly identifiable woman holding a weapon, we all know that sometimes we men take a different attitude toward women than we do men, so I ask would you hesitate to fire, or fire without hesitation? This was a conversation I had with some mates of mine and I said that I would probably hesitate, though I'm not a soldier so I don't know if your training would take over for this situation.

I guess you can't answer until you been in the situation. I'd probably hesitate..
Most people would hesitate, one of the reasons a "child soldier" is so effective. Take Africa as an example. The weapons have become lightweight and easy to fire, children are more easily armed, and don't need much training. Could you shoot a 6 year old?
But about the child soldier scenario, I think a soldier would hesitate more against a child then a woman tbh. But that would have to be another thread and poll though.oug wrote:

Plus children soldiers are more fearless mearly by the fact that they can easily be manipulated and brain washed. Sierra Leone is one example from Africa, and another example are the kids in Palestine. Palestinian generals tell their child soldiers to run into a field filled with land mines holding a key saying that by dying with this key in your hand, you unlock the doors to heaven when you die.TheAussieReaper wrote:

The kids believe it, and they charge the land mine filled fields and die without any fear. Very sad world we live in...
