i live in northern ohio and i was wondering where i can find flint. I dont really need it , but ive been watching man vs wild lately and i just want to try it.

But if your looking for flint on a budget I believe some lighters use flint to create a spark, or you could check you local superstore Walmart,Kmart, Meijers(think theres some down there) and look in the camping section, gotall sort of neat things.
ya ive been watching man vs wild too. I think im gonna jump out of a plane into the atlantic ocean soon and give it a try too. It looks easy enough to survive so why not.

I bought this great device to start fires... I works on the flint principles.

i know there are lighters among other things alot simpler and easier to use... but that isnt really the point. i just want to try the flint and steel just for the hell of it .
