3 first off let me say that i like the background, great job with the brushes. i also agree with you that the text is bringing the sig down, dont let it get you down tho cause text is the hardest thing to get right on a sig. a better border would have made this sig better as well, that plain one is not doing the sig justice. the render could have been better as well like some have said, maybe just a tad bigger. the last thing is depth in the sig....there is none. great job overall. keep up the good work.

Stock is hard to see, same with the text. And all it was was some simple brushing. You could probably do alot better.

Pretty good. I like the look though as others have said, maybe the text needs a little tinkering.
Wish all the photoshop users would stop rating sigs on how technical they are and such... It's how good it looks, not how hard it was to make, that counts.

exactly, many people are rating on the techniques behind the sig and lose the overall picture. The "skill" (experience) varies from person to person, but that gives no right for the experienced to tell whats "right" or "wrong" imo.Flecco wrote:

Sure the experinced have more experince, and may better know what works and what dosnt - for them.. signantur making is a personal thing.. it is infact a personal signature not something that needs to be technically "good".. its the idea..
for instance - an old song/cd might have crappy lyrics and the quality of the original recording might be bad - but when that song comes on you cant help your foot tapping along or playing a little air guitar because the guitar is good..
thats just the point in my opinion, signature making (in this case) is a personal thing, your personal stamp on your posts (in this case), its your expression.. its sort of an art, something you have created in this case.. its an idea in most cases..
in many of my cases there is a long road, story and idea behind every sig.. but most of all there are a lot of trials and errors too (that may be apparent from a technical point of view..).
sure, many people have chosen the path of using tutorials, and just duplicating the same sig every time.. I like to think that I have evolved on my own through countless trials and errors and found out (and still learning) what "works" and what dosnt - FOR ME
thats my sence.. keep up the good work to all of you people that are starting using photoshop.. it can be a pretty advanced program/tool and noone should expect beginners to know all there is to know about it. I always try to come with suggestions on how to improve the work.
