In a similar vein to elite3444's thread about FPS games, what was your first RTS?

Mine was Red Alert... Still remember my shock when I picked up Tiberian Dawn and found Kane, the freaky guy from the end of RA in there as the bad guy... Rofl.

First multiplayer was WC3 a few years back I suppose, never was too crash hot at the Bliz rts games though.

Dune II for the PC. I was totally addicted the minute I started playing. It was on my roommate's computer in his bedroom and, unfortunately for him, the first day I saw it I played until 4am, which was 6 hours straight.

As far a on the comp...that drug dealer game that was on everybody's t1-8x.

Starcraft and warcraft would have been the 1st one on pc. Cant think of any i liked until then.

Games I played at friend's houses, Red Alert, Civilisation II and Warcraft II.
My first RTS was Age of Empires. I got the Gold Edition for my birthday. It remains the only game my folks have ever bought for me. Since Age of Empires I have only bought one other RTS - Company of Heroes, just last week.
