I went to www.garrysmod.org and tried to install updates and all that good stuff. Does anyone know how to properly install these things and make them actually work?
If you have Gmod 9, then it's mostly copy and paste to 'C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\Garrysmod'.
do you mean..the mods? if you do, then they would go somewhere in
Steam\SteamApps\<your email>\garrysmod\garrysmod
and depending on what the thing is, it'd either go in
Steam\SteamApps\<your email>\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons
or maybe just in the folders that are already there. like the sound, lua, models folders.
as for updates, it should automatically check for updates when you start steam in online mode.
