x800, 2 gigs, p4 2.8ghz
Well yeah, my config is about 3 and a half years old. The only thing I added meantime is an extra 512MB RAM. I couldnt even get anything else, cos you cant really get new gfx cards with an agp slot, and my motherboard has only 2 slots for ram. But ill buy a new pc this christmas, strictly with a core 2 processor and a card that supports dx10 (and of course at least 2gigs ram). By that time it wont be that expensive.fredskov9 wrote:

1 gig or DDR2 and i used to have a 8800GTS 640 superclocked (really factory superclocked too about 70-80 Mhz better than stock none of that crappy 6-7Mhz just to get the label superclocked)
but i think it was seriously overheating (i think as it was really really warm when i took it out the pc after it had been on just on desktop and web browsing as well nothing strenous) and it caused terrible graphical problems, most of the screen would turn yellow at times which makes it a bitch to play on, it actually got worse the more i lowered the settings, so i've RMA'd it and swapped back to this pc in the mean time. which is
AMD sempron 2800 1.6GHz
1 gig of DDR ram
going to get 2 gig of OCz DDR2 800Mhz ram when i have the cash and a new graphics card from ebuyer.com (who i might add have so far been very good for the RMA (requested the RMA at 6pm on tuesday, citylink picked up the graphics card at 8 am wednesday, can't get much better.) but thats only so far.
Damm irony of getting a great graphics card and having it break when its the best piece of the system, 10 year warranty helps though.
