I know the season has not started yet, but with transfers now at there peak, with some major ones been decided already, you are getting a good idea of teams for the new season.
As United are the current champions and have spent big on Owen Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson and if the media is correct, they now have Tevez on a 2 year loan(No point in asking exact details as nobody will ever know). They are in my opinion the favourite's to win it again.
Chelsea by there standards have not spent much and have relied mostly on free transfers, Steve Sidwell, Tal Ben Haim and Pizarro. Not in my eyes title winning players, although it does look like they will get Malouda from Lyon, but do they really need another winger??
Liverpool are finally getting some decent signings, Torres is a very good signing and could just be what they were looking for to get them 20 premiership goals a season. Others i'm not so sure about, Voronin, Nemeth and Simon. The later of the two being young and not experienced.
Arsenal are not in the option above due to to the fact they have just lost Henry, arguably the best ever striker iv seen in the premiership. And apart from Van Persie the rest of there strikers are sh#t. They have signed Da Silva who in all honesty is not going to replace Henry with that amount of goals in his first season.
May be a mention to Spurs, they are again(as usual) buying young British talent in Bent and Baile but not really good enough to win the league in my eyes. They may however displace there best friends Arsenal in the top four if they start the season as they finished the last one.
What do you think? Is there anyone else you think have a chance?
