I'm sick of using WMM and want to know before i start a new movie if there is a shareware version of Sony Vegas or anything similar that is better than WMM. I am unwilling to fork out for software i won't use almost every day.

Or is there a way of making the camera zoom in to certain parts of the film in WMM and other tricks that I have only seen on Vegas?
