it gives a historical basis for the movement towards forming a tiny elite world government based on the currency producing power of central banks. it points towards 9/11 as one in a series of well documented government-staged attacks (tonkin, lusitania, pearl harbor) to start long conflicts that fuel the oil industry, the military-industrial complex, and notably the borrowing of massive amounts of currency, at interest, from the federal reserve. it points out how the federal reserve is a private bank with unknown stockholders, accounts that have never been audited, all of the power to control the amount of money in circulation (thus interest rates and inflation), and the documentary also points to the evidence that connects j.ps morgan, the rockefellers, nelson aldrich, and most notably the rothschild family of europe to the secret legislation that made our federal reserve possible as a private corporation in the hands of the worlds richest people. it also indicates that various depressions such as the great depression were specifically orchestrated by these elite bankers so that people could go bankrupt, give their assets to the bank, and then when the bank produced more money and the depression ended the bankers emerged even richer with what they repossesed in the depressions. the film suggests that these banks have more power now than ever to create a massive depression and inherit the earth from beneath us. more people rent and lease than ever. with a small crash most people will be landless and homeless because they have few liquid assets.
thats probably more than a few sentences but it still only touches on some of the topics in the movie. the movie actually is much more broad than that and also discusses a lot of the religious background for the "spirit of our times," or Zeitgeist. just check it out.
