Thats amazing, ive just looked up for some info, they say that rocks at the bottom are 2.7 billion years old!!!!!!!!!!! Also temperature is 120*C down there at the bottom. There is also water down there in the rocks which is wierd.

Why is that weird. Because of the temp. ITS IN THE ROCKS. It cant get airbourne then.

Damn that is a big hole and so is Kennicott copper mine.

Here is a couple of links to a drilling accident on Lake Peigneur in Louisiana that temporarily drained a lake on November 21, 1980. Pretty damn interesting. This created the largest waterfall in the state for a day or two untill the lake refilled.
