For example: I usually say "cheers" before sending one down the hatch. But lately I say "Skoal/Skull" I started saying that because I spent a weekend with my Norwegian friend at his summer house with his uber Norsk grandparents. And they said skoal before every sip. They say it because the Vikings use to crack open the skulls of their enemies and drink from them. So what do you say when you drink?
Less talk more drink. Beers no different then a glass of water, so why the special 'toast'?
