so i got a free copy of supreme commander with my alienware, is it worth installing, or is it just a bogus RTS?
Cant hurt to try it out can it?
Why are you even asking us this?
Go ahead and do it, but... if u dont have at least 2 gb of memory, a damn good videocard with a minimum of 256 mb and a processor like mine
radeon 5200 dualcore so dont bother because the game is heavy, i know, i bought it and installed it.

It worth it
Its the slowest most boring RTS you will ever play. All the good shit takes literally half an hour to an hour to build. No idea what they were smoking there but it becomes very slow and extremely boring, even the campaign sucks ass. At least thats what I thought of it. Dawn of War is much better IMO.

oh no it's not. 5 minutes after the game has started and you can be pumping out 20 bots a minute while having them automatically transported somewhere, while working on bigger stuff in factories.[NeMe$i$.Dr4g0ncl4w] wrote:

Do you know aries_37? He's on these forums - played supcom for some time, he and a friend of his were ranked #1 on the 2v2 ladder. in game, while I was still building factories they had a shitload of units on the field already. It's a game that takes some knowledge, it's not click and go
Guess it just isnt my type of game. I dont like RTS games that take ages to build stuff and get an army, thats while I like Dark Crusade because it doesnt focus on base building and it doesnt take too long to build things. SupCom was just too boring for me. Hardly any action and when there is any it involves 100 of [insert uber flying powerful faction unit here] wiping out a base with ease.SargeV1.4 wrote:

If you're the indecisive RTS player (when you don't know whether or not to rush, you feel nervous about sending out a few good units in the beginning, you'd rather sit back and build an armada to defend your base) then this game is probably not for you. The more time you leave your enemy, the better weaponry he/she/it will have. And seriously when you get a few of those spider monkeys crawling around your base no amount of base defenses can do anything!
The funniest thing though is that when you kill an enemy commander he'll detonate like a nuclear bomb and wipe out all these units around him. Funny to see that happen

Meant to be quite good install it and give it a go!
If you've played TA, you'll know how good an air force patrolling your perimeter really is.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
alright yeah, the only RTS i ever played and even then that was a joke (POWER OVERWHELMING) was starcraft. i just plain suck at them, but i hear the graphics rule so i guess it wouldn't hurt to try it out. thanks for the feedback.
