Honestly, had the same issue with my Logitech Attack 3 I bought back when I got Battlefield Vietnam, used it up until middle of last year. No matter what drivers I had it would always yaw to the left, yet my calbration tests and all that would never show it, start a game up, get in a heli and it would literally tip over. Im now using a Saitek ST920 Pro, cost me $30 and its by far my favorite joystick out of the 3 Ive owned, Saitek makes a solid product.

Either way, good luck with whatever you buy, Saiteks a good brand to look for if you havent gotten a new one yet.

Last straw for Vista tbh.

I'm reinstalling XP then I'll load vista on later as a 2nd boot.

Yeah, Vista leaves a lot to be desired in a 'sleek' new operating system.
I went through similar battles whilst attempting to install 5.1 sound drivers. What a joke. Back to XP I went.

And if you have been using the joystick for a looooooong time constantly then you should try erading around the net about the 3 in 1 trick to clean the 4 potentiometers that gets all dirty by the time, because of the dust. And remember, dust is electricity-conductive, so if could give serious false contacts, believe it or not...

That's true... but this has happened before.

maybe install drivers for it ? I have the same one but I can't remember if it came with any drivers lol.....I had that problem with my old joystick along time ago when I reinstalled windows.
