i made a full image of my bf2142 disk and it worked, i mounted it with daemon tools and it worked fine
and it doesn't matter if it's not the disk that was sold with the key because i sent my Buddie my key and account info so he could
earn me some badges, since i never play the game because it SUCKS, just my opinion.
but you should be fine to down load an iso of the game, use your key and mount an image to use to play
