This movie far exceeded my expectations. The acting was mediocre, but come on, what summer blockbuster does have superb acting? FX were the best I have ever seen, and the action sequences rocked. I just wished there had been more dialogue between the decepticons.

the script and dialog was possibly some of the worst shit i have seen in my entire life.
Go watch Fantastic Four and this movie will seem much better.

Well, at bible camp, we made this flow chart, to prove that transformers aren't against God, and since God made man, and MAN made the Transformers.

Saw it two days ago and loved it.

Sure the plotline left something to be desired at moments, but the one-liners/jokes made up for part("The male's pheromones level suggest he would like to mate with the female." It was priceless) of it and then the CGI action just blew it over the top.
My favorite scenes were Blackout assaulting the Army base(EMP was awesome), the introduction of the autobots, and finally the battles in the city, with Prime slicing Bonecrusher's head off with his Katar and Ironhide diving through the air while blasting his cannons.

The scene after/during the credits with Starscream leaving Earth left me wondering about a sequel, with him becoming leader of the Decepticons and giving a possible rise to Galvatron.

It isnt a movie to make you think, its a movie that makes you go "Holy shit."
I give it 8/10

WTF is wrong with you guys? You wouldn't spend 8 bucks to see it in a large kick ass movie theater with state of the art surround sound? I think I made my point.
Because I spent lots and lots of money making my own "theater" at home, and would rather spend $3 on renting the movie, than $30+ going to see it at the theater.  Then, if I wanted to watch it again, I could for free, rather than having to buy more movie tickets.
$30 to see a film!!!

WTF!?!?
Probably more than $30 by the time you get tickets for yourself and the wife, the $6 small bag of popcorn, 2 $4 small sodas, a box of milk duds, etc. etc. etc.

Yeah, I'll stay home thank you very much.

Wow, I rarely spend any money on food at theaters, I just buy ticket and go watch.
You can do that.

Unless you have a pimped home theater, you have to see this movie in theaters, really amazing what movies can do now.

First 300 and now Transformers. Good shit.

i believe this movie will be a huge let down.. like everything hollywood gets a hold of...

first off Chevy using this movie as a marketing tool makes me fuckin sick, the original transformers were not all chevy's.. is the new camaro supposed to be bumblebee cause dammit he was a Volkswagen bug in the original... why ohh why must everything turn into marketing.. sad that all you lil losers buy into this nonsense...

second... THERE ARE NO WOMEN IN TRANSFORMERS.. seriously this is a movie about robots not a bloody love story.. there was little human contact in the original transformers series (a father and son combo).. there is NO need for homos like josh duhamel and tyrese gibson to be in this movie...

and that director mr bay.. what a shit choice.. they guy that turned pearl harbour into a pg 13 love story.. how can this movie not be doomed.. the sad part is it will probably break records at the box office because regardless of it being quality or shit all you pathetic lil sheep will line up with your dollars in hand eagerly forkin them over to view a fuckin COMMERCIAL FOR CHEVY... congrats hollywood you fail us yet again....
Whatever dude. Chevy gave me a free ticket to see the movie a week before it came out. So im cool with seeing a few Chevy cars in it.

This movie fucking ROCKS, everything about was awesome

I grew up on the transformers and I know they changed things around but it was worth it, I thought I would hate Tyrese in this but I actual could tolerate him in this (shame he didn't squashed though )

I strongly strongly recommend everyone to see this

and oh yeah :

the sequel is going to be released in 2009! they're already writing it now.

in the original 84' series, starscream constantly tried to take over the Decepticons but Megatron always shot him or punched him. the writing is so good
