Well, you can start looking on overclockers.co.uk for the UK and newegg.com for the US (i think) and deciding a bit on your own and then post the links on the parts you've picked and get advice on better parts for example. I doubt anybody would do the whole thing for you :>

I am also wondering if it is worth it to get new hardrives and sound card. So can someone please look at this and tell me what they think. Thanks very much! Karma to who ever helps me out.

Also I have never built a rig myself or watched anyone do it. So should I take it in to get it done or is it fairly easy to do it myself?

Trex u do know that the processor u mentioned will not fit with the motherboard u mentioned? If i was you i would look at getting a Core2Duo E6750 when they come out.

The 8800gtx is a little over budget is guess, maybe get a 8800gts 640mb. Looks good slayer but he doesnt need a 720w psu. I got a 8800gtx, 3 hdd's and i got a 600w zalman psu.

Anyways good luck on the build mate!

How exactly do you plan on fitting an X2 into a socket 775?

You cant have too much watts And I´d go for the 320MB 8800GTS because they´re bit faster than the 640MB´s (in standard resolutions like 1200x960 etc)

Maybe not, but there is such a thing as overkill. You could just about run 2 8800GTXs in that rig with that PSU, it's excessive and the money spent there could be better used on other components.

you have an 775 socket mobo

and you expect an AM2 chip to fit inside

get a C2D if u want that mobo.
