Who do you think will be?

Feel free to list your predictions by party affiliation and any 3rd party types that will play a big part.

For what it's worth, Bloomberg is no Lieberman.  He's a left-leaning Libertarian overall in political policy, even though he's independent.  Lieberman is a lot more hawkish than Bloomberg, although Bloomberg did still support the Iraq War.  I'm sure Bloomberg would have been against the Patriot Act if he had been in Congress during the time it was voted on.
Some of his statements during the Lebanon situation last year suggest otherwise.
Would you mind listing some?  I would like to know more about Bloomberg, since I consider him one of the better candidates at the moment.
Here's an example

Thanks, Bertster.   I now know for sure that I will NOT be voting for Bloomberg.

The problem is, other than that he looks like a pretty decent candidate......

Shame his stance over one issue (which could turn out to be a BIG deal with the middle east political climate the way it is) makes him quite undesirable as president.

Agreed...  He's one of the few left-leaning Libertarian types out there, and that's pretty much the majority of my viewpoint.  Then again, I have been becoming a bit more socialist in recent times.  I guess Nader would probably be closer to what I prefer anyway.

An interesting ticket would be Newt/Rice in '08

...but i'm still deciding between Guliani, Thompson, and McCain.  I like McCain because of his military service.  Guliani seems like a 'take-charge' kind of guy and Thompson - well, i have to see more of him.

To restate Cam's post:

I cannot support John McCain in any position, especially after his showed his true colors in the latest Immigration debacle as being part of the establishment, the problem.

Thompson, Guiliani or Romney, any two of those I would vote for.
