I was at Karkand once, USMC and MEC developed HUGE flanks on either side of the river by the Gatehouse, I fired a potshot WITHOUT aiming real quick at the other side, apparently blew a guy's face off.

One time i had a sraw on karkand, i was between usmc's arty and gas station.... I shoted in the sky while turning my mouse to give the rocket a spînning missile effect... It was a long boring walk when suddenly........... BOOM im dead headshot or something. I was very surprised and when i saw the console message i was even more surprised because it was written : Avantek [Krylov FA-37] Seb--morin !!!! First i didn't knew what it was because i dont have the game but it got to be a master h4x0r that killed me that day....

I've never tried to find the range, but they blow up after a time if they haven't hit anything. If you are on the carrier on Wake, they won't reach the beach. You can actually see them explode in flight.wah1188 wrote:

cant remember wat this topic is about BUT, 2 friendlys wer in a chopper and we were waiting to capture the flag, so i decided hey im bored, so i shot 3 SHOTS at the chopper, during the 1st shot a jet attacked the chopper, on my 2nd and 3rd shot BOOM killed them with a pistol. 2 teamkills, 2 punishes WAT A STORY! at least i got flag capture points!
oh yea, BEST SHOT i have ever done is....shot a guy ONCE with my sniper rifle in the shins or wateva on jalalabad from a roof near the mosque, he was just an outline in my scope, he was at the point of vanishing, then i shot about 6 shots from my pistol and killed him. didnt even know where he was. KER CHING.

sure there are. just not many servers that play karkand with vehicles turned on. ive played on a kark server with vehicles. there were tanks everywhere. it sucked. so i left.im_in_heaven wrote:

I had a very long SRAW kill. It was on operation clean sweep. I shot the rocket from the most southern/western base and hit a guy in a boat in his uncap. I didn't see a target....all I saw was distant shooting and i thought I would have a go.

I've took out a F-15 pilot with a sniper rifle and his gunner stayed in so I got two kills, it was on Kubar Dam he was flying over the Intake and I just took a shot and it said.

do u see further if u have a good graphics card such as a 8800gts? also whats the furthest distance u can see a person at?
It'd probably be some targets with neon signs screeching "Blast mah brains out because I'm waiting for a jet and not out there contributing to the team!".
So it depends on the map. It's a tad easy to do on Dragon Valley 'cause the USMC carrier is so close to the land. But I've taken out peeps on Wake between North Base and Airfield. Stinks if a tank comes by, though.
