Anyone wanna give it a try? I'm curious to know, but I don't wanna get a virus

Pirated copies of BF2 with a keygen don't work online. With EA being the publisher, I doubt they asked for anything less than that.Ryan wrote:

Also, the pre-release date is September 11th. That's not the official release date.
I think if you pre-order it, you get it on Sept. 11th.

Dunno mate. I wonder why they gave a tactical shotgun a scope. You'd blind yourself in one shot. Silly futuristic technology.RandomSchl wrote:

Have you ever thought that DX9 cards can't handle the intense processing?The_Mac wrote:

Do you have a link?

Uhmm, don't talk to me about handling processing, if a game is well optimized then yes it can handle anything. I'd like to further point out to your benefit that the video cards render the image, the CPU is processing the damage to the tree and making it fall over.Hurricane wrote:

What about a NO? Damn, I hate ppl who say it sucks, without giving a god damn reason. What is bad about it? A good gaming console(lack of games atm, most of the games are coming between sept-dec, a good blu-ray player. Enough? If you consider gaming on PC, there isn't many games coming that worth playing( Quake wars, and CRYSIS are the only once, really). On the other hand, most of the good games are coming to the PS3(MGS, TEKKEN 6, Haze, GTA IV ect... full list ) and the 360.The_Mac wrote:

Yes, considering that more and more people are using dual core machines or getting stronger procs in general, yes it's possible.
Regardless, this game was never meant to cater to the weak machines...PS3 sucks anyway. Jesus, isn't it obvious?r'Eeee wrote:

LOL, you are overexcited about Crysis, hopefully it won't be disappointing like Quake Wars. But, this game seriously looks fantastic, OMG. What are your computer specification btw Ryan?

Uhmm, some forum noob made that comment and he didn't even back it up. I'm calling a possibility, but it sounds unfounded. DX9 and DX10 are merely graphical enhancers at this point, you should be able to do both, but not get so much of a thrill with DX9 as in DX10.
From the official Crysis Site..10) I've heard that Crysis will have seperate servers for DX9 and DX10 players. Does this mean I won't be able to play with my friends if they have DX10 and I don't?
No, you'll be able to play with or against your friend. There are two ways of making this possible. Either you upgrade your graphics card and operating system, or you tell your friend to put their game into DX9 mode. Those with DX10 have the advantage as they can play on both DX10 and DX9 servers where as those still using DX9 are restricted to playing only on DX9 servers.
