I was surfing around on teh interwebz (No, I don't have a life ), and stumbled upon this little translator. It can translate almost any language to any language, in a very ineffective way. It only works good with really basic words and grammar. If you put something in it that it doesn't get.. Well... Find out! Post your translations here, so that people from your country (Or sweden, because that's teh preset ) can get a good laugh. I laughed so hard on some translations. e.g. In swedish, "man" means both husband, man, yourself and people (Groups). "Man borde klippa gräset" means "I/We should mow the lawn" gets to be "Husband should mow grass". If you then put "Husband should mow grass" back into the translator, you get the result "Man skulle meja gräs". That means "I/we should mow down the grass". With a weapon*.
*When you talk about mowing down, you usually talk about shooting down with guns. "meja" is a pretty old swedish word for a kind of grass cutter. Rarely used in that meaning nowdays.
**Don't judge me on this. 5 cups of coffe. 28th hour. 60Hz screen.
***I know my screen sucks. No need to point it out.
****Fucking many asterisks...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
