This is pretty usefull topic ;D but i have to play all setting low(except distace 100%)... ffs laptop...
I don't think my card count to the 'high end' of graphic cards ..
7600GT
7600GT
8800 Gtx Sli Niggahs!
I got an OC'ed 6800GT, OC'ed watercooled P4 3.2, 2Gb ram & 4 disk RAID array... and i can run with all on High @ 1280*1024 with 4x AA... And shadows on for eye candy... shadows off just doesn't look as nice...
beat this:
x1300PRO 256MB, all settings (yes, even AA) on max. no lag, no problems whatsoever. and its not the internet helping me, cuz i have roadrunner LITE.
PWND!
... of course, this is just my moms dell. soon i will have my own computer up and running, with a 512MB 6800GTS, 3.8GHz P4, 2GB RAM, the legendary Sanyo Denki San Ace liquid cooler, an Asus P5ND2-SLI mobo, all being powered by an FSP 400W PSU, and all sitting inside an old but great e-Star case. w00t!

I have an Nvidia 7600 GS but yet my game still lags when I play. Why? Processor maybe?

1. Asking in a new thread.
2. Making that thread in the Tech section.
3. Waiting more than 4minutes for a reply.
I would try this but i get bored of sniping too fast.
= 1GB of ram~[_-=*Hanma*=-_]~ wrote:

if you have 1 GB of RAM, unless you have a recently formatted computer, will nearly guarantee comp lag for 5 minutes when you join a server if everything is on low, because the game takes time to load textures with so little RAM. 2 gigs barely lags at all, if at all, but 4 is optimal
ATI 9600 128mb, im lucky if i get 100% view scale....
but I still own......
but I still own......
7900gt, everything max and 4x AA
Are you retarded? Viewing distance is useful for every kit and beyond.PigPopTart wrote:

7900GTX, 1280x1024 all max and on, AAx4 ANIZOx16. The game looks sweet.
OK.. maybe I see less with shadows and lights on, but I feel strong enough in that game and I can afford seeing less I think

Thats the fog dumbass. I'm talking about viewing targets at range, not viewing the carrier at range. NO ONE CAN SEE PAST 600m ON WAKE.=[S3nf]= wrote:

Running exactly the same, on a 7600GT (AGP), and I can see roughly an extra 50m+ (depends on the map). Thanks SS. I don't mind sacrificing the AA and the effects for the view distance, great on Wake in a chopper/plane, you can always make out the outline of planes/choppers taking off from the carrier.dont_be_ss wrote:

I get around 33FPS at the lowest, when a lot of stuff is blowing up generally.
