ya HUmans pwn!
Poland. We're like bootleg russians so we'll try our best to do something worse then what the russians did but we'll fail, Then go on a drinking binge on potato vodka(which was invented in poland not russia! I remind you) Sneak into their space ships start doing stupid shit crash em into the mountains, All the poles will get up walk away because they're so drunk they cant feel shit, Get to the nearest town and start all over again.
it's possible, read The Andromeda Strain. It's unlikely that any silicon based life would be complex though, silicon doesn't bond well with the other essential elements, only itself.Inimicus_7 wrote:

China: 1.2 billion people against 100 martains...... hmmmmmmmm.... also Bruce Lee's spirit will rip them apart
U.S.A.: They will blow the shit out of the martians with the 2000 nukes they have... and chuck norris will roundhouse kick them to death
U.K.: They survived almost all battles..... so why not this?
Japa&Korea: They are so competitive that as soon as they see the martains, they will creat a eapon system 300 times more powerful than the martains' weapons.
Russia: Hmmmm 2000 nukes.... a bit too much for the martains, don't you think?????
Sparta: This is Sparta!!!!!!!! Get the fuck out!!!!!! Bitch slaps Martians and kills them.
Post any other countries if you can think of a good reason!!!

Getting back on topic - did you know they've found caves on Mars? Ideal place for any Martians (or Osama Bin Laden) to be hiding.
Osama's a Martian?
Of course...
New Zealand could easially defend against Martians. We'd get the All Blacks to do a rousing Haka to scare them off. If that failed we'd try to get the Australians to fend them off with a fierce rendition of "Waltzing Matilda".

What does this thread prove? That we are the most fucked up race in the whole universe? Yah
That book was by far Michael's worst book. All the built up only to find out the strain resolved itself into nothing.S.Lythberg wrote:

Anyways, the reason why martians can't invade Earth is because they don't exist. Plus even if they did, we're crazy enough to ruin the planet until its inhabitable during the fight if we go down. Just like the Matrix, and like what we're doing to the Earth right now even without martians attacking us...
wasn't it one of his first books? Give the guy a break...trippy982 wrote:

But yeah, we'd reduce the planet to radioactive ash before we'd lose it.
Or just play some country music...

True, one of his early work like The Great Train Robbery and Terminal Man. Terminal Man was great...S.Lythberg wrote:

yeah, but so were: Sphere, Jurassic Park, Timeline, Airframe(not much death here though.), and Congo.trippy982 wrote:

Those were later and there good . I recommend Prey before Eaters of the Dead. Prey was fantastic. Nanotechnology.. If into his non-technical books, Rising Sun and Disclosure are good reads too.S.Lythberg wrote:
