1-hit Knife Kills Gone????

I have noticed in the last 6 months that knife kills have increased to 2-hits...just about every time ive got an easy kill(knife), where the guy is not moving(like a sniper) i prone take a swipe & see the puff of dust cum out of the guys body.. but NOTHING!!! So i take another swipe just like the 1st 1 & he dies??? why is this becoming more of a regularity in this game, are the guys HACKING or is it just another one of this gr8 games glitches??????????
I had a knife fight with this sniper on the ground with cars whizzing passed at Jalalabad, we had had a duel going on all round ill kill him he'd kill me & so on, but 1 time we found each other on the ground going towards the last time we sore each other, so it was on...he was swiping furiously while i like 2 only strike when i think i have the kill(stats, i love accuracy. check em out) so there we r jumping around, him swiping & me looking 4 the opening. then i get the hit i was looking 4, i see the puff dust. i thought "YEAH, i got the f-cker"(as u do:)) but no kill, he just kept swiping away at me so i ran 4 a bit then went back 2 work on him...in the end of the fight i did kill him, i WAS going 2 T-BAG the guy, but out of respect 4 the gr8 fight we just had, i just looked over his dead nerve jumping body. Proud, Glad, The Best!
BAM...then ran over by a speeding car...shit,oh well..lol
Tell your gr8 knife 2-hit kill or even more????

Once I dealt with all of the bullshit hit-reg and got My expert Knife/ Level Gold Knife in 2142... I use C4.

Did you happen to notice what your ping was? I noticed that when I played 2142 that anytime I had a ping over around 120 in a European server, none of my knife kills seemed to register, even when I took a squat down on a snipers back and knifed him... took three times to kill him.

Yeah, there was this engy (engineer) at the uncap on Karkand who just spawned when I was C4ing the enemy Commander toys. He was busy going to repair the Radar and was unawares of his new shadow. Another bonus was his wrench was out, so it would take him longer to attack back. I whipped out my knife and swung! Only a puff of smoke came out. He still didn't noticed, but I struck again.

There was another time on Wake when a PLA engy was repairing the Radar. I saw it go from burning wreckage to clean repair within seconds. So I hopped over the sandbags near it, and nipped the guy in the bud. 1-shot, 1-kill. Hehe, bet there was a serious "WTF?!?!" going on in his head.

So it all depends on lag, hitbox reg and all that other fancy computer-speak. I often find when there's less lag, the shot often hits its target.
