Backstory: This morning whilst taking a leak, i noticed something, that i have a routine spot in the toilet pan for when i urinate. Through years of trial and error i have nailed the spot in the toilet that is the most silent and causes minimum splash back!
You see i have perfected the "silent piss" due to my parents use to work late nights and so minimun noise was required when i went to the toilet, if you hit the water directly the noise can be almost defening*. Spash back has always been a problem, often common in urinals but sometimes in the home toilet as well. Aim to high...youve just pissed all over the back of the toilet, aim to close to the rim... you've just splashed your trousers.
Dont lie to yourself and pretend you have never encountered these problems, especially on drunken nights. Where do you aim in the toilet pan? I have created a image to show you my spot, feel free to give it a try, you will be impressed.
