There was once this girl who worked at store directly across from the store I work at in the mall. She's cute, didn't know her name either. I don't think she works there anymore I took 4 months off to go to college, didn't pay much attention to her. Attractive but I didn't bother going over there to talk to her.

Additional tip just from my own experience, getting the number is 90% winging it and being a good conversationalist, the other 10% is the hook. If you can find anything about her you have the potential to create a conversation. Example, me and my friends are eating at Big Boy, and out waitress is kinda cute, our age. We joke that one of us should ask for a number, but eventually I overhear her talking to a coworker, turns out she was a graduating senior from a local highschool. So, as we leave and pay our bill at the front counter, I ask her if she goes to DC, telling her she looks familiar. Of course, I know the answer and I'm lying, but its a little fib that noone can ever verify. That was the hook. From there she starts to ask me if I know some friends of hers, to find out where I might know her from. I don't know any of them, but my friend does, and that was the point. (I'm happily taken.) Honestly, we could have had a phone number just by asking in a minute or two after that, but my friend just doesn't have the balls. Another tip is at the point in a conversation where you exchange names, shake her hand. It shows positive qualities like friendliness and also provides a convenient excuse to break the touch barrier. Hope any of this helps. Once you've got a conversation going, just stay confident and outgoing, you're bound to at least make a good impression.

DONT ovethink things after u start talkin it wont be so bad. once u talk to her for a little while maybe youll get a few min alone.. just sit at her table at lunch for a few days and you can find out some about her and then ask her if she would be up for meeting you outside of work one evening.

First, you should check her hand for any type of engagement or wedding ring, if they do that in Germany.

Second, if your group of co-workers and hers pal around together try to listen as closely as you can to her conversations to see if she gives away any clues to her status.

Other than that just be yourself, be polite, respectful and ask her if she'd like to grab a coffee or something after work. The worst that could happen is she'll say "No" or "I have someone." At least by asking you'll know her deal and just remember many guys are too intimidated to approach a beautiful woman so she could very well be single.

1. Confidence. If you don’t have it...fake it.
