That's really nice. Very realistic. What software do you rendered it with?

I used 3ds Max 9 right now. I did this room entirely in 3ds max, but right now im using chief architect 10 as well and i can export my designs over to max 9.

did this one a couple days ago https://www.tridentwatercreations.com/images/stories/marketing/kitchen.jpg

the cabinets have no doors haven't brought in the cabinets yet. Are there any modeling and 3d threads around here? most of everything  here seems to be about 2d compositing.

Sweet. Are they raytraced? Does Max9 do radiosity? or does it use some radiosity-like technique?

Yeah. That's because nobody but me, you, and maybe one or two other people actually know what a 'render' is (when referring to computer graphics).

Yeah, max 9 includes the mental ray renderer (3.5 i believe) in addition to the regular scanline renderer. I prefer mental ray because it get more accurate ray-tracing, better lighting and better material fx. Im a general contractor so I don't do much character modeling, mainly architectural stuff.

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/in … id=5708192 This takes you to the autodesk page, i think they have a free trial of 3ds max. And lots of tutorials.
