Since i changed my computer, something very strange started to happen. Whats more interesting, i found out that it is happening both in BF2 and BF2142.

During play, my keyboard kinda locks and i can't write anything in the game while i can normally use it for everything else. After some time, sometimes, it unlocks and after that it locks again... sometimes, it doesn't unlock at all... but i can write only NUMBERS !?!? I thought that it might be something with my keyboard connected to USB but when i connected it to PS/2, same thing happens.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on?

What type of motherboard do you have mate? Other specs? Drivers for the board up to date?

If it happens with both games then it might not be the games' fault. Try updating drivers.

try shift+alt (or whatever combination changes between languages) when it happens.
i probably have something similar, it switches to different language that bf doesnt support, so i change it back to english and wualla!

YES, Assau1t, it is probably that though i haven't tried it yet. On some other forum people told me that i probably mechanically press SHIFT + ALT and change the language which BF does not support. It has some sence but i can't get how i didn't experience that problem earlier before becouse i play BF2 for like 2 years now and everything is the same as before except my comp - which is brand new. I will try and give a feedback here.

It can't be something with the motherboard or something, the system is clean and new, everything is up to date... the problem is that i press J/K/L, it sais SAY ALL/TEAM/SQUAD and then i can type pnly numbers and not letters. It's probably what Assau1t said!

Anyway, the mobo is Gigabyte 965P-DS3

Where are you from? I never heard of Wualla.

Edit: Nevermind, I just realized you meant "voilĂ " which is the correct spelling of wualla. I thought wualla was the name of some other language you were switching to.

Has you keyboard got a numeric pad on it?
