How can i change my desktop symboles like this?
Right click>>>properties>>>shortcut>>>change icon!

Try this:
Right click on your desktop
select Properties
go to Desktop tab
click Customize Desktop
Your standard desktop icons are all there.

and when i want to use pictures as symboles?
You have to convert your picture to a .ico file first. Microangelo does it and used to be free. I don't know if it's still around, but you can check.
