I posted earlier on which mouse to get, and decided and bought the MX-518. But i was wondering if i could have tht mouse and my old mouse ( USB root hub) plugged in the same time. Since i am not the only one who uses this comp , adn am not sure if the other people who use it will like the gaming mouse. anyone help?

- can you have two mouses plugged in one comp at once?
Well, try it and find out.
I don't see why that wouldn't work, just as long as you have enough ports to accomodate them.
i did it
a wireless and a usb
they fought each other making it kinda lame and they wouldn't work to well
i don't recommend it

yes
Two moues and two keyboards once. And I always have my 2 sound devices in (speakers, headset)
2 mouses work fine, well they did with me.
Two of anything should work fine, as long as you have enough ports and I/O buses.
Is the term not "mice"?
I have 3 all the time.
My G5 for normal + gaming
My Saitek Laser for workin (got a handy dandy wheel)
And my mouse on my graphics tab.
All 3 can fight each other, but its not normally a problem

it would be the same as having a mouse and a wacom working at the same time
No, Mouses is bad grammargeNius wrote:

i had 2 plugged into my pc ages ago, one was wireless and the other not.. when my cousin was playing on my pc id use the wireless witout him know what was going wrong, hed try to aim at enemys and id start making him go crazy a miss, while laughing at him for being crap from 2 metres away
They work...
Yes you can. I currently have a USB and a PS2 mouse running at the same time (you only get one curser though )
I had two usb's running at the same time they definitely work
When my friend came round i had a wired mouse and wireless plugged in. I didn't tell him and I hid the wireless mouse and I kept making him crash jets and jerk the mouse away when an enemy came. He was like wtf what happened and I just said yeah, sometimes the mouse fucks up. He found out eventually.
grammar nazi's spotted!
Two mouses/mice will work just fine.

Lol i did, its funny when you move them opposite ways, the pointed goes crazy. But yeah it is possible, imagine having a party with like 5 mouses with 1 person on each.
I don't think he wants to use both at the same time...ChevyLee86 wrote:

BTW Yes you can plug in two mice/mouses at the same time. But just use one at a time for beginners
