Stats problem...I solved them for my account

Hi guys,

I decided to uninstall BF2 ( without deleting my account )...After uninstalling it, I installed it again, updated it with 1.4 and 1.41, and launched a game on a server....And OH MIRACLE, my stats are being updated again !!! But, I lost all the points I earned since the 13th June....

I don't know if I am just lucky and if my stats problems were fixed just at the moment I did this, but it costs nothing to try....It actually works for my account (even if this site says my last battle was on the 13th of June, my BFHQ screen is ok, and another stats site I know is ok too...)

The stats being recorded has nothing to do with your bf2 game. It has to do with the servers...not your game.

In the time it took to OP to uninstall, reinstall and patch, the stat server had probably got round to updating his stats.
It's like the joke:

A german Bomber was returning back to Germany after a raid on Britain:

Pilot: We are losing altitude!
The Gunner throws a pistol of the Bomber.
Gunner: OK?
Pilot: No, we are still losing altitude!
So, the Gunner throws a rifle out of the Bomber.
Gunner: Now?
Pilot: Nope....
The Gunner drops a bomb out of the Bomber.
Pilot: Ok, better now.

So, They fly on into Germany and on their way home something happens:

They come across a young girl who is crying...
P & G: What happened?
Girl: A....a...pistol... caming flying out of the air and shot my dog!.
The Pilot & Gunner leave her and come across a woman crying...
P & G: What happened?
Woman: A...a...rifle came flying out of the air and shot my husband!
The Pilot & Gunner leave her and come across a young boy who is in hysterics laughing...
P & G: What happened
Boy: I farted and that building blew up!

Those people were in Aircraft Carriers. Germany was know for its 3 Aircraft Carriers, but they got destroyed.

Ummm no, we paid EA, not Gamespy. Gamespy was hired by EA to run the stat servers, so, infact it is EA's problem.

Even if it's gamespy's fault and gamespy fix it, in the end it's gonna be EA that announces it and Ea that provides the means to patch it.

not your game or your computer.

i dont think any servers are recording stats now, all the ones that did that i played on dont now

just give it time

Hope so, I'm not to good at battlefield and by now i would have earned a new rank if it wasn't for them. and that's about 5000 points which takes me about 13 days to earn, now i have to do it again, or at least that's what i think or will i gain rank when they fix it? :S
