Derail; Tho, it would be interesting to see how some people would do in a real fire fight....straight outta the base nade spamming, bunny hopping and prone diving while shouting 'nubs!' at the enemy. Tearing through the endless lines of med bags and ammo packs and wondering why its not like it is in the game and that these bullets really fuking hurt!! xD

With every text release, they always refer to everyone as "soldiers", so that is not really surprising.  I think they only refer to you as a customer if you email them for whatever reason.

After that ban i bought real BF2 and wonted to play with normal players! I received it, installed all patches and stupid stats are dead
EA stats I never had, I just want to start from 0 to  100k and more. I will be happy ^^

Bt it looks like we all are in the same boat.... i have wireless connection so i can only play on local servers... SGS and guess what... thay dont rank... (although thay are ranked servers)

I think EA master mega bf server has crashed (BSOD) and no one is there to restart it.
(probably running on win95)

was just thinking....the stat system is a hard working server...think about it my pid is 101660729 if i am correct this means that i am the 101660729th person to play bf2 online...imagine everyone's playing at once....thats alot of stats to keep track of...

QUICK RECAP

This is what is happening.
Ea said that due to the large amount of players online they are backlogged and have trouble processing data…but do confirm that there is a problem and if you read among the lines, you will find that you may just lose all the stats you made this week and weekend
They further ask all server renters to inform them if there is a problem

Then BF2s said that the servers are slow and that you will get your updates just have to wait… but also stated that there is nothing to be done regarding lost stats and there were instances where the servers did not record the data…

EA says you play you get your score at a later time... But dont be sure, depends on witch server you play on.

LISTEN!!! EA says they just acknowledged it because they have been trying to work on it since most likely friday, but can't figure out what's wrong... i mean you can't blame them. when your tech support or rep has the same name of a freaking flower, of course this is going no where. look my point being is, their staff is just too incompetent and they have been having difficulties solving it so they are just stalling for time and saying they just "found out".

now lets all just be realist and accept the fact that we all did not get our stats starting on thursday, and it most likely won't be recording until they fix the problem. you are not alone, i won my valorous unit ribbon 6 times over this past weekend, none of which have been recorded, my meritous, 4 more gold stars and my veteran explosive combat badge.... so lets not be so antsy, just prepare for the worst (EA- Sorry NONE OF YOUR STATS HAVE BEEN LOGGED IN! OUR SERVERS SUCK BALLS!) and just continue to play once its back up

I don't know if this has happened to you, but sometimes when modifying the Internet filters on the multiplayers screen, no servers can be found. I mean, they all disapear suddendtly and I have to leave the screen and come back for servers to show.
ANd VERY important!!!!!!!!!!    you have the opportunity to select servers with "no vehicles" only, but you CANT select servers with vehicules only!!!!  It's becoming a mess to try playing with a tank on Karkand! Shouldn't this option be added to help those that are not affraid to take on APCs with mines or C4?

101660729th is to much. You have to remove 2 numbers so that you was the 1016607th sounds normal. There is not 100 million players, its around 1 million.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed server information in this thread. I have more than enough to report up (I was actually suprized at how widespread this is to be honest). Hopefully all of this information will put us a step closer to getting everything back on track.
