The lights I have on both my 4x4 and sports are 110w Ultra White, with a full beam wattage of 130w, which I believe exceed that of the police in the UK...golgoj4 wrote:

3-2-1-2-3No, but in Canada (which I'm assuming the US has the same thing) we have sensors in the ground that if you drive over them, the computer at the light knows there is a car waiting.. So if you don't stop on the sensors, the light won't ever change.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
is there any truth to changing a red light by flashing your high beams or tapping and releasing the break so the light will flash on some sensor?
What I really want, is what some Emergency vehicles have that automatically turn some lights in their favor..
w00t for drivers ed!!
in UK, if you look underneath the button press box, there should be a black twisty knob thing, twist it and the lights change in your favour, (may be a butten on some crossings)
yeah I'm thinking this is about as useful as "infinite solutions"....

if you guys didnt notice, it was a joke. for some reason most people think that if you press the crosswalk button multiple times then it will change for you. i see people banging on it nonstop until the light changes. but you only need to press it once....
r0fl, that combination takes so long to press, that the lights will have changed by the time you get it right..
Oh well, Its good entertainment while you wait for the lights to change..

Where ever this place was filmed, those pedestrian signs look retard big
I'm pretty sure that's not true. The cameras on traffic lights are for catching people jumping the lights. I've never seen the lights change for an emergency service vehicle, they just drive through while the lights are red - I've nearly been hit by several police cars doing it.Penetrator_01 wrote:
In the UK, a lot of light sets have a camera on it, designed to pick up headlights from emergency service vehicles, as the full beams alternate between left & right when the siren is on. This can be recreated enough simply by rapid flashing the headlights starting from 300 metres away, providing there isn't a lot in front. Temporary roadworks with mobile lights are most vulnerable to this trick.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

i've seen cop cars change the traffic lights.
Yup, turns out they can. I've never seen them do it though and I've seen plenty of them drive through red lights.Nintendogamer wrote:

If you've ever wondered it's for blind people who can feel it turning when the green man is on.

Because every click after the first one is a complete waste of time..
The timer starts when you hit the button the first time.
If you believe this then consider the following....
If you're driving at night and you see a car without its headlights on, don't flash your lights at them. It's a gang of kids looking to murder the first person who flashes them. Gang initiation code for "lights out!"
ooooooooooooo.... something to think about eh? Gotta be true!!!
