I can't believe how much this error has occured lately

Problem - Memory Sanity Errors
Cause - Serial-ATA drives and Wrong Drivers
Fix - The "Memory Sanity" error seems to be being caused by Serial-ATA drives not having the correct motherboard drivers installed. Please check your drivers if you are having this problem. This is the only known fix but i do have reason to believe it does not always help, if so you could have faulty RAM, try running a program called Memtest86 to test your ram for errors. Also try removing a stick of RAM from the machine to see if it helps running on just 1 stick of RAM.
Personally, I don't believe that- try manually reinstalling the game (check the links in my sig )

and run memtest to check your memory, and update drivers.

Any luck on this.  On my new computer I just built I had this same problem.  Mine was related to the motherboard and RAM.  The mother board is extremely picky about what RAM I used (p5n-e  sli).  Once I got the memory issue worked out and computer stable I was able to finally load BF2.
I would run the memtest.
Do you have 4 gigs of RAM?
