When I installed BF2 I was running on a wireless connection. Recently I have been having some problems with the wireless so I have moved the router closer to the PC and switched to using a cord. Problem is Battlefield 2 doesn't appear to recognise the internet through the wired connection. To explain a little better I will give examples of what I have tried that bought me to this conclusion.

1. When both wireless and wired connection are enabled and connected, it appears that the internet defaults through the wired connection and works fine for browsing, when I go to Battlefield 2 it doesn't recognise the connection and won't connect.
2. When just wired connection, same as above, internet works fine but Battlefield 2 won't connect.
3. When just wireless connection, both internet and Battlefield 2 work fine.

So my question is, how do I change where Battlefield 2 appears to be looking for an internet connection to the wired connection?

Thanks in advance.

Problem solved! Did step 2 again, that is, disabled the wireless, except this time restarted the whole PC as well, then Battlefield 2 worked a treat. Thanks to those that read the post.
