I found this really intruiging video on youtube and it was like wow!

So basically if you are doing A-level Physics you will understand this video and be intruiged. If not you may be intruiged with but far less knowledge.

Edit: You may also be interested to know that there is a DVD of it called "What The Bleep Do We Know?"
There are two versions of it available. One with the documentery and one with loads of extras and explanations.
For people in the UK here are two links of it:
Normal Edition

Ultra Edition

Then he started talking a lot about "slits". Started making me horny.

Seriously though, this stuff facinates me. Good find +1

Thanks. I understand the double slit experiment. I have an exam which requires me to know it a week 2moro. However I would love to understand the quantum physics side.

Well, that's the basic ideas of quantum physics -
things behave contrary to many accepted laws of physics at very small scales (subatomic).
Energy exists as both particles and waves

Also, the very idea of observing these behaviors modifies the way these things behave.  That is what the mad scientist in the video is trying to explain.

As far as "What the Bleep Do We Know", I saw the movie.  It is very intriguing to say the least.  Although I would not present it as a study in Quantum Physics.  There is a good deal of explanation of Quantum Theory, but there is also a good deal of pseudoscience mixed in.

Here's some related topics.  The Elegant Universe you can watch online:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/ - Awesome Nova Series *****
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger's_cat - Morbid Hypothetical
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introducti … _mechanics

I highly recommend you watch the Elegant Universe if you're into science and space.  It's mainly about string theory but there is quite a bit of quantum mechanics talked about... even if it is in layman's terms.
