Seeing as how the first Americans were Europeans, yeah, I think you're on to something with that one.
Besides, if we hadn't done it, then someone else would've.
And you say someone else woud've, while that is correct, but there are an endless amount of parrallel universes like that. Personaly i like the world the way it is now, so i give credit to America.
15 more years! 15 more years!
I really think everyone else in the world hates America and takes their anger out on it because no other country has such a large impact on the rest of the world, and America is such a big world leader. I detect some jealousy in them when they rant about America. Don't start dissing American until you've visited here for a while and been to many places in America before you form a general opinion.

It's not just america with rich people correct?
So what exactly make's a difference in jealousy of rich people in different country's? What is so different?
Edit: By the way, A lot of "Rich People" work their way up.
Some don't, It's the way of life.
Their are millions of homeless people without jobs or homes.
Their is no difference in country's, No one should be jealous.
It may be hard to find a job in different country's and it's hard here to depending on what you are wanting to do, And guess what?
If you do not meet the standards for that job, You don't get hired.

That's probably one of the reasons. If you don't know why people hate America then you don't need to automatically assume everyone is jealous of you. They're not.S.Lythberg wrote:

NASA and the moon was part of something called The Space Race, where we competed with the Russians to be the first to land a man on the moon. They really weren't that far behind us, especially since they beat us to putting a man into space. Plus, China's space program is now highly advanced as well.

So your argument is highly flawed, especially since none of it is backed up with fact.
OK a view form the UK American people are usually nice friendly people who you can pass the time of day with in a bar for a few hours as i have done on quite a few occasions and enjoy there company because they are basically interested in where you are from and if you know the queen, but in the UK we see the American political system as corrupt and heavy handed, when i say corrupt i mean in the amount of sway the big multi national companies have over your political system, and the fact that your main stream news is run by a relative few companies where as in the UK we do have a a truly free press whether it is right or left wing it don't matter because that ownership is spread around and we have a massive amount of privately owned newspapers.
Also in the UK we see the average American citizen as a homebody by that i mean very rarely does the average US citizen leave the USA, that is backed up by the percentage of US citizens who own a passport which by the standards of the UK is very low i believe over 80% of UK citizen have a passport where as in the US it is considerably lower (if anyone knows the actual figures please tell me).
So to sum up the American political system is fucked, as a member of the worlds community why does one country have the right to tell another how it should be run when there own is far from free and to say otherwise is not true (i also include the British system in this, but we are still hung over from having the largest empire the world has ever seen). This is NOT A FLAMING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OK just the politicians and the system.

right away people will come and try to save the victim... and me...
