Dude!!! Me too. I thought it was my screen or the tint or some shit but now it makes perfect sense. I too am color blind and find myself sitting at a flag waiting for it to go down and LOL it's my own flag. It is frustrating.lead_head wrote:
I am red/green colour blind…… I have no problem in bf2 or Special Forces, but I am having real problems with 2142.
I find it really hard to distinguish between the flags on the mini map and often goto bases that we have already capped or goto what I think is a friendly base and get shot! lol
Are any of you colour blind and if so how are you finding distinguishing between the flags?
Also is there any way to edit the flags on the mini map to say red/blue or red/ yellow or something?
No green/red! Christmas must be a drag!lead_head wrote:

I seem to have got used to it. Just concentrate on the top bars of the flag - one is orange, one is green. The bottom bars seem the same colour to me.
Just the same over here buddie. I feel you xDlead_head wrote:

here in the USA they just make u stick ur eye in a machine that projects numbers and letters that make it look far and you read them..... basically they want u to be able to read the road sign lettersruss)=spetsnaz wrote:

it doesnt matter if you are colorblind for your license. millions of people are colorblind so there would be no way to stop them for getting a license because of it. anyways colors don't matter while driving.russ)=spetsnaz wrote:

For the "standard" driving license its no big deal, because traffic signs are designed to be distinguishable not only through color but also through position.russ)=spetsnaz wrote:

colorblindness becomes a factor if you want to become a cab or bus driver, because you take responsibility for people´s lifes. At least in Germany.
I´m colorblind too, according to the doctors I have a weakness for green and an actual blindness for red, but I can distinguish them pretty well.

You must have trouble at christmas
I think everybody knows some color blind people and alone from this I know that there are a lot of variations of this weakness. My youngest son for example has no problem with the flags, but he is not able to differ between green and orange ping indicators in the server list.
