Helicopterm Service Ribbon

I have the Basic Helicopter Badge by flying around for 15 minutes. On the Helicopter Service Ribbon, it says you need both 15 minutes and 19 kills in a round. So should the 15 minutes part of the ribbon be checked off showing I got that part already?

edit: Are some ribbons bugged, or what? For the Distinguished Service Ribbon it says you need 15 teampoints IAR. I know I've definately gotten over 30 teampoints in one round before. I shouldn't have gotten the ribbon, because I still need 10h squad leader, but that part should at least be checked off.

No. You have to do them simultaneously. Once you get 15 minutes' flight time and 19 kills in a chopper, then you get the ribbon.

He's right. He means you have to get the 15 minutes of chopper time and the 19 kills in the same round to get the ribbon.

But shouldn't the 15 minutes part be checked off? Just like all the other ribbons have certain parts checked off with the little green check mark while others haven't been checked yet because they haven't been accomplished.

I know you need both to get the ribbon, but I'm saying the 15 minutes part should be checked off since I've already accomplished that part.

No, because it isn't total helicopter time. It's helicopter time in a round. Hence why it says "IAR".

And always overdo what you have to. Sometimes the server doesn't register or you just don't count whatever you need enough times.

Yes. Understand this: You MUST get 19 kills (in a round) and MUST spend 15 minutes in a helicopter (in the same round).

Sames goes to most medals, unless they say otherwise.

Indeed, and any global/stat requirements MUST be achieved before getting the In A Round requirements.

Ah, ok. I get it now. You can't get them individually like on some other ribbons like the Valorous Unit Ribbon.

But now I need to know why I haven't gotten the Distinguished Service Ribbon when I know for sure I've gotten way more than 15 teampoints in one round.

Yes always the time as Leader,member or class is first.

The IAR stuff only comes into affect when you completed all the other requirements.
