I was reading about hitboxes and it lead me to search for more stuff on the subject. Is what that guy did in the video legit? Or is it breaking some rule? Did what he did even affect anything or would that shot have hit anyway?

It would be really helpful for the tv to hit the chopper when you aim it right instead of going through it.

Changing your usersettings.con file is ok, not against any rules and is known to help people with hitreg issues. Go for it.

I don't think its every game but I'm not sure. I've tried this and it doesn't seem to help though..
The ping hitbox command does help for me though.

settingsmanager.floatset gsdefaultlatencycompensation .0(your avg. ping on the server)

this one you do have to enter almost every time because your ping varies from server to server.
