Tough Call, even with bullet time Max would get the shit ripped off his bones, the chief has armour and shields as well as guns and lots of em, but preston has so many gun-fun skills and those damn pistols that the shields would be down in seconds, up close the chief would destroy john though, through sheer strength

I gotta go with the Chief though, hes been in serious shit before and survived through it all, plus hes got that badass Mjolnir armour to top off his tank like being

master chief would EASILY win because his battle armour is made to protects future weapons. Preston ahs swords and gun that would do nothing. Max payne just has pills.
