BF2S Forums Expert Pistol and Expert Knife

My favorite moment was getting my first expert badge which was the C4 one. I did have to commit suicide about 5 times, but I took down at least 3 people with me each time. I got vet that round also.

I got my Basic Sniper and Pistol Badges in 2 consectutive rounds playing on Karkand. I should thank you for teaching me how to properly use a sniper rifle and pistol.

yeah love it.  quite a few times i've had the knife out someone's pulled a knife out and went me.  i'm happy to die to dudes like that.  obviously there are a thousand who slaughter me, and probably nearly as many who fall to my blade (how cool is it to say that ) but yeah, still haven't got expert.  i think the biggest hurdle was basic, vet came reaaaally easy after that.  i need global kills wit my pistol these days however - so if i find someone who hasn't seen me - i'll run up behind him and smack a pistol clip into the back of the head.  more dangerous than knifing him, but i needs tha kills...

My most favorite BF2 moment happened yesterday. It wasn't for a badge but it was pretty awesome.

Ok, so i was play a 64 player Wake 07 server after i had just gotten Sergeant (yay me) and unlocked the F2000 and MG36 and was assaluting the Beach from the South Base alone and had my F2000 out when about 9 or 10 guys come up the hill from the beach roughly 100 m away. I instictively go prone, switch to my GL and launch it at 3 guys clustered together. They all die, 7 to go. I switch to the assault mode on single shot and snipe 3 guys coming at me (by the way, they are shooting at me the whole time). 4 to go. the remaining 4 go prone and have no idea where i am so i reload my GL and assault modes and GL one guy and snipe another before one of the guys whom i killed had respawned as a sniper and killed me.

Yeah, i died, but killing 8 guys by myself made me feel pretty damn good, especially when a friendly tank came up behind me right after i died to finish those guys off

Man that was fun as hell

lmao stabbing an APC, I will have defrib fights with people....defrib a tank...

Knifing the APC seemed a stupid idea to me at the time, but the guy got out and had a knife fight with me, even if we both got killed by one of my stupid team-mates it still goes to show that some people play fair. If someone pulls a knife on me i certainly dont plaster them against a wall with my M203, get that knife out and have some fun.

My overall best moment playing BF2 - I climbed onto a roof with my M24 on Sharqui Peninsula and spotted 4 guys on a roof about 100 metres away, i shot one of them and he gets revived straight away by a medic lying next to him, so i shoot the medic and he gets revived by another of the group who happens to be a medic. I ended up shooting these guys repeatedly for approximately 5 minutes until one of them realised where i was and started shooting, i hid behind a vent on the roof and composed myself to pop out and shoot the guy who had spotted me. I guess his friends had figured out where i was because a minute later one of the guys i'd been sniping for the past 5 minutes climbs up the ladder straight into my claymore. I put another clay at the top of the ladder, jumped off the roof and ran like crazy, only to see the guy that ran into my last one get killed by the second one. Found myself another perch and carried on with the carnage

Most of my best moments have come from sniping, killing guys 300 metres away while they are running - now that requires some skill, i pull off such shots all the time and my sniper rifle accuracy is still over 50%.

I also ran into one of my friends today who enjoys his F2000 GL a little too much, he spotted me and emptied a clip at me, i ran down a hill and picked a good spot, he saw me again and launched a grenade, popped back into cover, popped out again and launched another - bang goes my 7.62 straight through his skull - he promptly hunted me down as a sniper and got his arse kicked a few more times (i'm trying to help him improve his sniper skills at the moment)

I'm applicable for expert knife. I may try for it in a while. Can't wait until I'm applicable for expert pistol. I like my pistol. I'm on about 250 kills. Half way there.

I think the most problem I had was people launching the GLs in my face, rather than having some glory and going down in a knife fight. I mean im dancing around you with a knife, have some pride and pull out that sharp shiny and try driving it into my skull rather than puss out and stick a nade down my gullet.
