Also could be due to me spending far too much time then I should on these forums. eg: its 1:26AM and I have a history exam tomorrow, but I would rather be on bf2s until I fall to sleep at the keyboardMekstizzle wrote:
Just realised i regg'd on the same day as gene_pool. The guy has 3X more Karma than me, i'll chalk that upto him being Australian therefore being better in every way to Brits (except football - but they could beat our team, we suck at the moment)

lol oh dear. what the hell. this forums only been around just 2 years, what you think a reg date on a forum a year and a half ago makes you an internetz supastar from the old skool days? try some of the UT/CS/avp/starcraft forums, youll get laughed at by all the other kiddies if you dont have a reg date of <2000.Hurricane wrote:

And yes, flaming in general should be kept to a minimum, but new members shouldn't flame older members for being told to search n stuff.
edit: Yeah Gene =p Tuesday I have to recite 5 poems for the oral part of my English exam, then Thursday I have a Spanish exam, Friday I have my written English exam, and I'm not sure when my other exams are =p (they're the week after). And I'd rather be on BF2S, IRC, or play WoW than study =p

to be perfectly honest, is it all coming from new members? i know the majority is, but im sure some of this shit is coming from a few veterans, and the crap coming from the new guys is from the same spastics over and over, so on the whole, i think the new members have been generally good contributers to the forum. im new, so feel free to ignore me though.TheDarkRaven wrote:

I can understand where you're coming from. There are some "veteran" members who do this, but they usually aren't fantastic contributors nor are very active. And there are some idiots who consistently repeat their mistakes - we should try not to jump to assumptions on new members. Many of them greatly contribute to the forum, and they do grow into great members. I know I made mistakes when I was a new member - but I learnt from them. Lets give them a chance, unless they blatantly ignore the rules. I won't be ignoring you, though!mkxiii wrote:

Well im good been here since late 05 left and came back =P. Little newbies need to quit starting shit though
Here's how I see it, Hurricane I think you're a little wrong..
These are Chuy's forums not the "old members"- why shouldn't the new members have the right to be dicks aswell?

very good points, and thanks for not ignoring me im around quite a lot, since i joined (albeit only 2 months ago) ive been pretty active. i hope that my contributions have been useful and not pissed anyone off, but i dont know. would kinda like to find a way to get to know all the old and new members better though.TheDarkRaven wrote:

Aye! Old members ftw!
I'll drink to that. I miss the old days. Too bad I didn't register earlier, oh well I still got to see the the originals, before 70% of them left.Ryan wrote:

I like flaming
I miss: Prodie, Bearz, Sgt.Gh0st, Vengeance, Coolbeano, SysTray, Supah (meh), [n00b]Tyler, DirtyMexican, tvmissleman, BioRaveN, MorbidFetus. I can't think of any others but dang......This forum will never be the same.
Lol, it'll be one year tomorrow.RedTwizzler wrote:

I'm not a smacktard, am I? I joined in 2007, but I love my widdle BF2s.
i feel i should post in this thread as it seems relevant to the community, but its just doesnt seem right. sure the "older" members have enjoyed a lot in their day from this site, but that doesnt me we run the place, or that our opinions are any better than someone new who walks in here. i think this site as seen some good additions to its member base since 2007. there are always going to be dicks and people who flame, just except that and let the mods deal with it.
