just curious, if you use the EA downloader to get the game can you easily back up game content incase you need to re-install. So you don't need to download the whole game again?

Yep. You can find the complete package in your EA-downloader Temp files. or "EA-Link" as they call it.
Just burn the folder contents onto a CD. Reinstalling from the CD works without problems. Same with EF.

Ok I checked for the files and I cant find them...... can someone point me in the right direction......using EA Link
Same here, I had to reinstall BF2 so now I need to reinstall AF and there is no option to do this via EA Link. Can anyone help?

C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Link\cache\{.....}\bf2armor
and
C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Link\cache\{.....}\bf2euroforce
respectively, with a large number between the braces.
