Nice post Sarge, at least for the most part. You dutch or belgian by the way?

I agree the system isn't quite fair. I have a slow pc so I'm not usually the first to get a vehicle at the start of a round, but always take my loss and go do something else. On the off chance I do get a plane or Heli, what I hate is that there's just people always hanging around waiting for me to get shot down.

But y'know - I will admit that my skills are mediocre at best and so I've even "given" J-10's or whatever to people whom I know have been waiting for half the round to get it. (you know - those guys that wait in the AA but fail to realize the J-10 has already spawned). They probably don't deserve it or anything, seeing as how they tend to suck anyway, but hey, I kinda like just being nice.

Also, I think its great when people actually attempt to communicate...I try it too, when I see a clan guy in a chopper and I manage to get in I always asks if he minds having me as a gunner. Usually they don't, but sometimes theres the "Get out!" and that's just what I do.

I don't, however, teamkill. And though I agree with your arguement I don't agree with your methods.

I don't mind having a gunner if he is decent but ffs hate it when they are totally fucking retarded and go in constantly missing or not knowing about the fucking tv missile and not looking on the mini map. Then when you die repeatedly due to his lack of incompetence he comes to the spawn yet afuckingen arrrrgh!!!! I mean theres only a couple of tv's I can dodge until I lose altitude and smash into the floor.

No, that's not what he was saying.

What Sarge meant to say was, there is a line for the jet/helicopter. If you cut him in this line, he WILL M95 you. It's a common courtesy that the person who waits the longest should have the first dibs on it.

Naturally, most people don't understand this concept, hence, the M95.

Kinda on the same topic but I find it hilarious with the kiddy players. This one douche bag tried to tk me to get the Jet he got the Jet and came back about 30 secs later. He tried to tk me again in the APC but ff is off so I hoped in the APC and ran him down.

He spawns and right away "ADMIN HE TKD ME ADMIN DO SOMETHING ADMIN PLZ PLZ BAN HIM HE TK ME BAN HIM ADMIN THIS IS BAD!"

Gotta love the lil nut suckers that do that. Best one I've had is "Admin he skipped the queue for the jet ban him!".

You completely failed to justify TKing for vehicles.

I think that DICE should make the M95 not able to penetrate friendly glass. TKing for vehicles is how many rounds are lost.

Pretty good point’s all.  Please put it into practice at crowded bars, The Queue at theaters, The  entrance gates at any sports arena  And any machine you wish to use at the gym. This will give you a chance to teach all the people who aren’t as worth as much you how to interact  properly with you. I am sure you will all enjoy it. Let me know how it works out. Most hospitals will let you hook up a lap top and you should come into some idle time if you practice what we preach.

So then you can't do it the first time you see someone do that, because you have no proof they will suck, right?

If two people want to pilot a chopper together, you get the fuck out. Don't cry about being redzoned if the pilot actually asked you to get out because he wants to solo. Of course, if he didn't, he's at fault. If he did, and you decided to stay in, you deserve nothing more than a one way trip to the border of the map.
thank you very much. of course, i always offer any gunner a chance in my chopper if they get in right after the round started. if they have never heard the term TV missile before, or ever ask the question "you guide em with the arrow keys right?" , i ask them to kindly get out. i offer them optimal conditions, usually going near other vehicles before telling them to get out.

they usually do (lucky for me), and if they understand and hop out without a fight, i thank them personally by typing my gratitude in the chat, rather then using the Q comm.

wow sarge, u seem very angry. do u really mean to offend us all by saying "you" all the time in your post? i never tk'd on purpose neither did i force someone to run me over, i always punish if someone tk's me for a vehicle and i don't communicate with tk'ers. if i see u doing it to some random guy i keep my distance to you, not out of respect but simply because i want to avoid having any part in your actions. yes i hate it when people try to force their way into a jet when i'm next in line, most of the time i get it anyway, if not i do something else. who am i to think that out of 32/16 people i have to be the one who has to dominate the skies. i would not be doing something useful to help my team win the round, if i start an argument, tk the guy or let him run me over. i rush to the next enemy flag, i've been tk'd for the jeep and the boat also though.

sarge i agree with what your saying, but i still wont tk people out of the jet once theyve got it. however, i have no idea why people stand in front of the jet and get tk'ed. just last round i got m95ed by an absolute noob, who then proceeds to ram his/my j10 into a tree killing himself. he returned and i got the jet, and he missed my head when he went to shoot me. as soon as i ran him over on the takeoff, he put a kick vote on me (which do nothing).

i guess your relation to real life is kindof wrong, in rl u use examples of adult behaviour, whereas on bf2 almost everyones a 12yr sadistic retard trying to whore epoints

Quite a few times I've been playing on Sharqui and been tank whoring and noticed that someone else wants the tank. So when I die, if they're there, but I get in as driver first, I'll jump out and go to top-gunner, just to be fair. The great thing is they normally do the same after teh next re-spawn.

Rule 1) Most people are stupid
Rule 2) Give them a chance and you'll find they're pretty nice
Rule 3) But don't forget they're still stupid

If i spawn because there is a chopper there then as i go to get in someone beats me to it, i will get in regardless of what is said, you think I'm wasting my time standing around for 5mins doing fuck all then you are clearly mistaken, i will however jump out when I'm close to the action as there is no point sitting there doing nothing for a round, you red-line me then forget your playing time on the server, i will TK you all rounds non stop until you leave, that's fun for me.

But as you didn't write the rules for BF2, you just think you did, i wouldn't listen to you anyway!!!

Sarge is pretty much right in what he does!!! (also it aint hard to type/say, "can we take it in turns or something")

Personally its the main reason i play Inf only now and only occasionally go into servers to fly jets and choppers.
There are far too many servers full of fucking idiots who will jump their turn, TK you even if you were waiting the longest, or at worst a gaggle of the mornos will stand in front of you when you take off, all punish you so you get punted from the server.

However i don't really agree with his views on attack choppers, they are designed for 2, not for one, all though the people that fly them solo are usually very good pilots and can probably do just as well on their own, taking their gunner to the out of bounds to kill them off so the pilot gets all the points is hardly team play.

I personally would like to see DICE bring a fix that prevents this from happening, or prevent 1 person chopper whoring.

This is the first time I ever agree with you (mostly).  If you are there waiting for the jet, then you should get it over some twerp who just runs up and takes it from you.  If that's the case, I see it ok to TK (of course I wouldn't do it).

But as soon as you said it's ok to red line a guy because you want to solo in the chopper, you are dead wrong.  If you want to gun, then get into the gunner seat.  I don't care how good a solo'er you are, you are a ^#*! head if you think that's kosher.

Oh, and another thing, I have yet to be TK'ed for a vehicle yet because the only time I try to get into one is when it's sitting all alone in it's hanger.  It's this "I need to be in this vehicle to be good" mentality that promotes this rational.

If we're relating to real life i'll do one as well.

The worst thing you can do to a teamate by yourself is Tk them, agree?

The worst thing you can do in real life is maybe kill someones family then torture them to death. Aside from that killing them is one the the worse things you can do.

So in real life, when someone jumps the line on you, you don't kill them do you? Which is one of the worst things you can do to them

If we're applying this to BF2, the worst thing you can do is TK them, which you do.

Point is, if you're going to relate an aggravation from real life to a game, relate the punishment as well.
